Salary: Starting at £9.00 p/h, rising to £9.20 p/h upon successful completion of probation, increasing once qualified to £9.50 p/h
Location: Grateley, Hampshire
Working on a shift basis which will include afternoons/some weekends.
The Cambian Group is one of the largest providers of specialist behavioural health services for children and adults in the UK. We are currently looking for staff to join our dedicated team that match our ethos of believing that every child or young person has the ability to achieve their personal best.
At Grateley House School has a successful tradition of supporting students between the ages of 9-19 with Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties, to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their journey towards independence. The dedicated team recognise this success and want to offer this opportunity to a wider range of young people and adults as part the ongoing developments that are taking place across all areas of the provision.
Grateley House School is situated in a rural setting in Grateley near the village of Andover, Hampshire with educational facilities and residential homes on site. The school is at the heart of the local community where the students are able to explore and learn with opportunities to develop work experience with the local businesses.
We are seeing to recruit committed, passionate and engaging Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting the delivery of education, life skills and be a model of positive behaviour support to empower our young people to make a positive change in their lives, gain self-regulation skills and develop greater lifelong independence.
Successful support workers will be a part of a large supportive team who work across Education, Care and Therapeutic services supporting each other’s practice to develop specialist residential services to those with additional and complex care needs including: Autism, Asperger’s and associated difficulties. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work alongside well trained, qualified professionals across our multidisciplinary team and to join an expanding successful organisation.

Shift Patterns include:
Afternoons – 15.00-22.00 or 17.00-22.00
Weekends – 8-17.00 or 13.00-22.00
